Frequently Asked Questions
I have over the years, as an intuitive reader, been asked many different questions as to what I do and how I do it. Some of the questions I have been asked many times, over and over again, which is why I have chosen to create this FAQ page. I hope it’ll clarify and give you some more understanding, as to what an intuitive reader is all about, and what you can expect, if you decide to experience a reading with me.

What is a reading?
To some people this may be an obvious question, but quite often people have asked me, if a reading means that I sit and read out loud from a book. I can assure you that that’s not it. Trust me you wouldn’t want it to be, however a reading is, in this particular case, me reading your energies, giving you information as to where you are in life, where you could be going and how you can utilize the potential I see in you, so you can live a happy and fulfilling life.Do I need to prepare any questions?
Absolutely not! I can do all the talking and I’d be more than happy to do so, but if you have specific questions you want answered then it may be a good idea to write them down. Just to make sure everything you needed to know have been answered.return to top | book a reading
Do I need to make an appointment?
To ensure that you receive a quality reading, yes! I’d prefer you to book an appointment. People often call and want a reading right then and there and I may be shaving, showering, cooking or cleaning and my focus is far from on the person who is calling and who’s in need of assistance. It’s true that our intuition is working for us at all times, but clearing the mind, zooming in on the person who’s asking for a reading, ensures everyone walks away happy. Compare it to you running into your local butcher on the street, you wouldn’t ask him to prepare lamb chops for you right there, or your accountant, you’d make an appointment with him to do your taxes. Ok! I think you get the point. What is an intuitive?
Well! In the old days people used to call, what I do, a psychic reader. I don’t call myself that as I believe it implies that I can do something that you can’t. Also the word psychic has been misused so much that most people when they hear it think of various TV personalities, who for the most part, have given what I and others do a bad reputation. But being an intuitive means that you use your sensitive abilities to tap into where you or other people are at.return to top | book a reading
What are the different sensitive abilities?
You are looking at being clairvoyant, which means being able to see clearly in your mind different images. You are also looking at being clairsentient, which means being able to clearly feel what’s happening around you, like having a “ gut feeling” or clairaudient, which means you clearly can hear what is going on, and no! You are not crazy because you hear voices in your head. Most intuitives use one or two of the above senses, sometimes they use all three. I’m predominantly clairvoyant and second clairsentient.Does everyone have an intuition?
Absolutely! Yes! Without a question! But for the most part it is a sense that lies dormant. You may have heard people say, or you may even have said it yourself, that they have a “gut feeling” about someone or something. It is very common, but unfortunately most people are not brought up trusting this sense. I believe it is one hundred percent possible to train your intuition, so it’ll work for you again. But like anything else you have to want it.return to top | book a reading
Why would I want to get a reading if I’m an intuitive myself?
Until the day we get to a place where we truly trust our more sensitive side it is always good to have someone more objective give us a reading, someone who doesn’t know who we are. Quite often fears or desires get in the way and cloud our senses, when we try to read ourselves. I do believe though that it is possible to get completely clear and be objective. It just takes practice. Are you any good?
From the feed back that I’m getting, repeat clientele as well as the testimonials you’ll find here on this website, I’d say that people are happy with the work that I do.return to top | book a reading
What can I expect from a reading?
Definitely expect the unexpected and I know that sounds like a cliché, but really, keep an open mind. Sometimes you may not hear what it is that you want to hear, meaning you may have a question in mind, but your subconscious has something else that it wants answered. For some reason our subconscious quite often takes over, which is one of the reasons why it may be good to have questions prepared.Do you tell if something bad is going to happen?
I am not the bearer of bad news and I never will be. You may call me an eternal optimist, but I believe we all have choices, that the future isn’t set in stone and that to a large degree we create out own reality. I prefer to look at opportunities in your life, which will bring you to a place where you can live the life of your dreams. Also being a reader comes with a certain responsibility. Predicting doom and terrible things to come I find utterly irresponsible. We are talking energy here and energy changes. You are absolutely the captain of your own ship, and I can only help you navigate it to a place where you’ll find more peaceful waters.return to top | book a reading
Have you always known you were an intuitive?
I have to admit I don’t have an extraordinary story to tell. I am not a third generation clairvoyant reader who inherited this special “gift” from my great, great grandmother and I didn’t have a traumatic experience when I was younger, which triggered my intuition…and then again, I suppose that’s debatable. I have often wondered where the bump on my head is from. I vaguely remember when I was an infant, the bathroom floor coming at me with the speed of light, during one of my diaper changes…hmm! In any case I have just always had a sense that there was more to life than what meets the eye and at the same time a natural curiosity for anything alternative. I have trained myself and I truly enjoy all aspects of working with my intuition. How long have you worked as an intuitive reader?
I have worked, researched, investigated and taught intuition for the past fourteen years.
